Special Weather Statement until 09:45PM

At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles southwest of Mccune to near Oswego to near Chetopa. Movement was northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Joplin, Pittsburg, Webb City, Carl Junction, Baxter Springs, Columbus, Galena, Duquesne, Cherokee, Airport Drive, Weir, Lowell, Sherman, Scammon, Chicopee, Mccune, Asbury, West Mineral, Treece, and Waco.
