1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0721) 4400 Block of La Cresta Way, Valley Oak District
The female victims, 31 and 37, were in their residence when the known suspect entered armed with a firearm. One victim pushed the suspect out of the residence, and the suspect struck her with the firearm. As the suspect fled, she vandalized one of the victim’s vehicles. The victim declined medical attention. SUSPECT: Black female adult.
2. Robbery Arrest (1406) 600 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The female victim, H/F/31, was working at an area business when she confronted the suspect who was shoplifting. The suspect struck the victim with an object and fled on foot with merchandise. Loss prevention for the business caught the suspect and detained her until officers arrived. The victim was uninjured. ARRESTED: Kristina Baird, 45, for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
