Flood Warning until 02:00AM Tuesday

...The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids MI has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Michigan... Muskegon River At Evart affecting Osceola County.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Muskegon River at Evart.

* WHEN...From late tonight to early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Expect significant flooding in the area of M66 and 9 mile, impacting homes in the Jefferies, Doc and Tom, and Wildlife Shores subdivisions. Minor flooding of homes in low lying areas along Timberlane Drive, and River Road between 80th Avenue and M66 also occurs. High water levels also begin to impact the Evart Water Treatment Plant.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:15 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 11.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.0 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 12.0 feet on 04/03/1998. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
