Hawthorne's Bi-Anuual Fire Hydrant Flushing Program 
HYDRANT FLUSHING
The bi-annual fire hydrant flushing program will begin in Hawthorne. This program will start this week, April 6th and will continue for the next 4 to 6 weeks. The work will be done daily during regular business hours.
No interruption of service will result, but residents may possibly experience slight discoloration or notice a drop in water pressure. Any resident who notices problems should call the DPW Office at
973-427-5330. If there is a discoloration, residents should let the tap run for a few minutes until water is clear.
