Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Christina Omogor Onunu, 36, of Newark, who was reported missing on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Ms. Onunu, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, was last seen at approximately 2 p.m. on April 1st in the area of Hobson Street near Nye Avenue. She is described as Black, 5’7” tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black sweater and black sweatpants.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Christina Omogor Onunu to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
