Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., reports that due to a film production, the following streets will experience intermittent street closures on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.
Beginning from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. – Tuesday, April 7, 2026
• Lafayette Street between Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd. and Mulberry Street
• Mulberry Street between Lafayette Street and Raymond Blvd.
Beginning from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. – Tuesday, April 7, 2026
• Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd. between Lafayette Street and Raymond Blvd.
• Park Place between Raymond Blvd. and East Park Street
• Mulberry Street between Lafayette Street and Raymond Blvd.
• Lafayette Street between Mayor Kenneth A. Gibson Blvd. and Mulberry Street
Drivers are advised to anticipate delays and plan alternate routes.
