Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges following an investigation.

Members of the Drug, Organized Crime and Vice Division have been conducting a drug investigation into 38-year-old Richard Ray. On April 2^nd at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers executed a search warrant in the 300 block of New Castle Avenue. Ray was located and taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered a loaded .9mm handgun, 55 MDMA pills, a pill press machine and $522 in U.S. currency.

Ray has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver- (Tier 2)
• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited- Two Counts
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
