Kidnapping Investigation Spanning Arizona and California Leads to Arrest

LOCATION: Needles Hwy / Vine Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Peter Falcon, 33-years-old, Resident of Rialto, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Friday, April 3, 2026, at approximately 10:58 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of a possible kidnapping in progress in the city of Needles.
Deputies immediately initiated an investigation and conducted an extensive area check based on the information provided. Deputies learned that an adult female victim was allegedly being held against her will and had been subjected to threats and physical assault.
During the search, deputies were able to locate the suspect vehicle at a gas station located on the west side of Needles. The suspect, identified as Peter Falcon, was detained and taken into custody without incident. The victim was located inside the vehicle and was treated by medical personnel at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the incident involved movement between Arizona and California. Law enforcement authorities from Arizona responded to the scene and are conducting a separate investigation into incidents that occurred within their jurisdiction.
Falcon was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking on the above mentioned charges. Falcon remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a bail amount of $500,000.00, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is ongoing.
