Activity for April 6, 2026:
- Officer Beekel responded to the 300 block of North Horton Street for a larceny report.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of Wilson Street. The suspect fled in a vehicle until they crashed on Pringle Street. The 41-year-old male suspect was arrested for fleeing and eluding; driving while intoxicated (3rd offense); and conditional bond violation.
- Officers responded to East Prospect Street and Carl Breeding Way for a traffic crash. A 55-year-old female was transported to the hospital; charges will be sought on the female for driving while intoxicated.
- Officer Mills made contact with a subject near North Blackstone Street and Van Buren Street. A 41-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics; furnishing false information to police; and multiple misdemeanor warrants.
- Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of First Street for shots fired. Officers reviewed video footage, and were able to identify and locate the suspect. A 32-year-old female was arrested for felonious assault and felony firearm.
