Traffic Advisory

On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and the Haledon Municipal Council, in cooperation with Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, the Haledon Police Department advises residents that milling and paving operations are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, and Thursday, April 9, 2026, starting immediately at 8:00 AM.

 
The following roadways will be affected:
 
Coolidge Place, from Stansfield Place to Hodges Place
 
Verein Avenue, from Woodside Avenue to Mountain Avenue
 
Sherwood Avenue, from John Ryle Avenue to the end of the roadway
 
Willie Street, from John Ryle Avenue to the end of the roadway
 
Hoxsey Place, from Belmont Avenue to the end of the roadway
 
Hodges Place, from Belmont Avenue to Coolidge Place
 
Beam Place, from Belmont Avenue to Coolidge Place
 
Stansfield Place, from Belmont Avenue to the end of the roadway
 
Notices have been issued and Emergency No Parking signs have been posted in all designated work zones. Residents must comply with all posted signage. Vehicles parked in violation of posted restrictions will be subject to ticketing and towing.
 
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are strongly encouraged to avoid these areas and plan alternate routes during the scheduled work periods.
 
The Borough of Haledon appreciates your cooperation and patience as these roadway improvements are completed.
