Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide detectives are assisting South Gate Police Department with a death investigation on the 5600 block of Imperial Highway, in the city of South Gate. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 2:15 a.m.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
