SUMMARY: On Monday, April 6, 2026 at approximately 9:57 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance near the 151000 block of Rio Vista Drive in Earp, CA.

During the investigation, deputies determined that the involved parties were in a dating relationship.  During the incident, the suspect, identified as Eddy Garrison, became intoxicated and engaged in a verbal argument with the victim at a residence.  The suspect then forcibly took the victim's car keys and entered the vehicle with her.

While the victim was driving, Garrison made criminal threats and interfered with the safe operation of the vehicle.  When the victim stopped to contact emergency services, the suspect damaged her phone.  The victim then fled on foot to a nearby residence and contacted 911.

Deputies located and arrested Garrison without further incident.  Garrison was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking.  Garrison remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $50,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
