Traffic Stop in Needles Leads to Arrest of Wanted Felony Suspect

PC 487(A) - Grand Theft and PC 666.1(A)(1) - Petty Theft with Priors
LOCATION: North K Street and Smokestack Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): ANTHONY ESPOSITO, 29 Years Old, Resident of Mohave Valley, AZ
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 10:26 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department made contact with Anthony Esposito during a traffic enforcement stop near North K Street and Smokestack Drive in Needles. During the investigation, Esposito was found to have an active felony warrant out for his arrest for PC 487(A) - Grand Theft and PC 666.1(A)(1)-Petty Theft with Priors. Esposito was subsequently arrested and transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Esposito remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department on $200,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
