1. Robbery (1515) 1400 Block of East March Lane, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 20, was in the listed area when she was confronted by three known suspects, who pepper-sprayed her and assaulted her. The suspects then fled with the victim’s property. The victim sustained a minor injury but declined medical attention. SUSPECTS: Three Black females.
2.Battery on an Officer (0238) 2600 block of West March Lane, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated female acting erratically and tried to detain her. The suspect resisted arrest and assaulted the officers as they took her into custody. Officers placed the suspect in a SAFE wrap device to prevent her from injuring the officers and herself. None of the officers was injured. ARRESTED: Casceal Swaggard, 37, for battery on an officer and resisting arrest.
3. Weapons Arrest (0243) California Street and Flora Street, Civic District
Officers contacted the suspect as he attempted to run away and threw a firearm and ammunition over a nearby fence. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Rigo Lemuz, 24, for weapons charges.
