LOCATION: 6000 block of Joshua Lane, Wrightwood
SUSPECT: Luis Barraza Machado, 28-years-old, Resident of Phelan
Avelardo Retamoza, 33-years-old, Resident of Bloomington
Yesith Chairez Bueno, 25-years-old, Resident of Los Angeles
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at approximately 6:10 am., deputies from the Victor Valley Station responded to the 6000 block of Joshua Lane in Wrightwood regarding an unknown problem. It was reported that someone was injured and there were bad people at the residence.
Deputies arrived and contacted an injured male, Machado, who was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Machado was also found to be in possession of approximately one ounce of suspected cocaine.
During the investigation, deputies served a search warrant at the location and made contact with Yesith Bueno and Avelardo Retamonza. As a result of the search, deputies located three non-California-compliant rifles, two handguns, several high-capacity magazines, approximately two ounces of suspected cocaine, $1,300 in U.S. currency, and items indicative of narcotics sales.
Machado, Bueno, and Retamoza were all arrested for numerous weapons and drug charges.
