The Mayor and City Council have voted to approve a resolution authorizing the next phase of construction on the Paramount Theater, moving the $11.7 million project forward under the City's Boardwalk Preservation Fund grant.
At the March 25 Council meeting, the City announced that March Associates Construction, Inc., the contractor originally expected to complete the work, had decided not to be the contractor on the project. MAR advised the City that it would proceed expeditiously to engage an alternate contractor.
Tonight, the Mayor and City Council voted to approve a resolution authorizing an addendum to the Boardwalk Preservation Fund Sub Grant Agreement with Madison Asbury Retail, LLC (MAR), with Pullman SST, Inc. named as the incoming contractor and Michael Graves Architecture serving as construction manager.
