Wilmington Police arrest man in connection to a burglary incident: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to a burglary incident following an investigation.
On March 31st at approximately 10:00 a.m., a member of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1300 block of North French Street in reference to a burglary complaint. The officer made contact with the victim who advised him an unknown suspect illegally entered the building two separate times and removed property. The case was assigned to Detective Jessica Gledhill of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of her investigation, Detective Gledhill identified 42-year-old Richard Gibson as the suspect and obtained warrants for his arrest.
On April 2nd, officers located Gibson in the area of East 9th and Kirkwood Streets where he was taken into custody without incident.
Gibson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)- Two Counts
- Theft Under $1,500- Two Counts
- Criminal Mischief Under $1,000- Two Counts
- Criminal Trespass (Third Degree)
