One Injured in Marcellus Crash 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on April 9, 2026, at approximately 1231 hours, Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a single vehicle crash at 290 S. Centre St. in Marcellus Village, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation shows that Wesley Cummings,(35 yrs old of Marcellus, MI) was Southbound on S Centre St. when he appeared to be having a medical issue, crashed through a fence, and crashed into Big Tony’s Pizzeria. Cummings was transported to Beacon Hospital Kalamazoo by helicopter for injuries sustained in the crash.
Assisting Agencies in this crash were Marcellus Fire and Med Flight.
This crash remains under investigation.
