Sheldon Rd/Center St at 7 Mile Roundabout Closed for North and South Traffic on Monday April 13, 2026 
Construction update! Construction at the 7 Mile Rd / Sheldon Rd / Center St roundabout is set to resume the week of April 13, with completion anticipated in June (weather permitting). To complete this work, Center Street and Sheldon Road will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic beginning the week of April 13.
This final phase focuses on key improvements to enhance safety and traffic flow, including curb and gutter installation, sidewalks and ramps, signage, pavement markings, utility work, and asphalt resurfacing at St. Lawrence Blvd and Wing St.
Here’s what to expect during the closure:
• Center St closed just south of Fairbrook
• Sheldon Rd closed just north of the bridge
• Detour route: 6 Mile Rd → Beck Rd → 8 Mile Rd
• 7 Mile Rd remains open in both directions
• Intersection closed to pedestrian traffic
