1. Resisting Arrest (1358) 5300 Block of Pacific Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a business in the listed area on a report of a subject shoplifting. As the officers arrived, the suspect fled on foot. Officers chased the suspect and used force to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Jordan Platt, 28, for grand theft, possession of stolen property, resisting arrest, and narcotic
charges.
2. Carjacking Arrest (2225) 3900 Block of West Lane, Civic District
The female victim, 34, and the known suspect got into an argument over the suspect using the victim’s vehicle. During the argument, the suspect slapped the victim in the face, took her keys, and fled in the vehicle, which had her juvenile son in the back seat. Officers located the vehicle and arrested the suspect. The juvenile was uninjured and reunited with his mother. ARRESTED: Nikko Garcia, 34, for kidnapping and carjacking.
3. Battery on an Officer (0413), 2700 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
Officers responded to a business in the listed area on a report of a person refusing to leave. The suspect was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. While at the San Joaquin County Jail, the suspect resisted arrest and kicked an officer. The officer was uninjured. ARRESTED: Daisy Tinoco, 26, for resisting arrest and battery on an officer.
