LOCATION: 8000 Block of White Oak Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Prabhugoud Anupam Patil, Age 25, Male Resident of Riverside
VICTIM(S): Confidential Male Adult
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at approximately 1:30 P.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a call for service for an assault with a deadly weapon.
Deputies arrived on scene and contacted the victim. Through investigation, deputies learned the suspect, later identified as Prabhugoud Anupam Patil, arrived at the location, armed with a hammer and threatened the victim. During the altercation, Patil attacked the victim and swung the hammer several times. The victim suffered minor injuries from the altercation.
Patil was later arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC245(C)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon, not a Firearm, PC422(A)- Criminal Threats, and PC417(A)(1)- Exhibit a Deadly Weapon, not a Firearm.
