Residents are reminded that City of Hoboken’s Little League Baseball and Hoboken Nike RBI Softball Opening Day parade and Ceremony will take place tomorrow, Saturday, April 11!
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of 10th and Washington Streets, and head down Washington Street, turning left onto Fifth Street, and ending at Sergeant William Fesken Memorial Field at Stevens Park. Baseball and Softball players will start lining up at 9 a.m.
Hoboken Little League will host a ceremony at the field at approximately 10:30 a.m., after players arrive. During the ceremony, Hoboken RBI Softball and Hoboken Little League teams will be announced, alongside their coaches and sponsors. Teams will be joined by elected officials and community leaders.
Be advised, there will be rolling street closures during the parade. As per NJ Transit, buses will be diverted to Bloomfield Street and Hudson Street between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. Saturday morning.
