Active Fire in Queens-There is currently a heavy haze over the Village of Pelham Manor and the surrounding area. We have unofficial reports of a large 5 alarm fire in Queens. Our information is that a 9,000 sq. foot lumber yard is burning near LaGuardia Airport. If you have respiratory issues, stay inside and keep windows closed. We will make information available as we receive it.
