* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following county, Crockett.

* WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 842 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Ozona, The Intersection Of Highway 163 And Ranch Road 1973 and The Intersection Of Us 190 And Highway 163. - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 358 and 379. This includes the following Low Water Crossings... crossings along SH 163 and crossings along County Road 401. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* AFFECTED AREAS: CROCKETT, TX

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Remain alert for flooding even in locations not receiving rain. Arroyos, streams, and rivers can become raging killer currents in a matter of minutes, even from distant rainfall.
