Traffic Advisory:
On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and the Haledon Municipal Council, in cooperation with Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, the Haledon Police Department advises residents and motorists that milling and paving operations are scheduled to take place on Monday, April 13, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM.
The following roadways will be affected:
John Ryle Avenue (Belmont Avenue to Mountain Avenue),
Lewis Street (Woodside Avenue to end),
Buschmann Avenue (Belmont Avenue to Woodside Avenue), and
Belmont Avenue (John Ryle Avenue to Belmont Avenue).

Belmont Avenue (John Ryle Avenue to Belmont Avenue).
Emergency No Parking restrictions will be in effect in all designated work zones. Vehicles parked in violation of posted signage are subject to ticketing and towing.
Motorists should expect traffic delays and are strongly encouraged to avoid these areas and plan alternate routes during the scheduled work period.
As always, residents are advised to place curbside trash out this evening or very early in the morning to ensure collection is not disrupted by the roadway work.
The Borough of Haledon appreciates your cooperation and patience as these roadway improvements are completed.
