Investigation Underway After Woman Found with Gunshot Wound and Pronounced Deceased

LOCATION: 14300 Block of Willow Street, Hesperia
VICTIM(S): Monique Bojorquez, 31-years-old, Resident of Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at about 12:59 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a residence on Willow Street, in Hesperia, for a reported shooting. When deputies arrived, they located a female, Monique Bojorquez, unresponsive in the driveway. Bojorquez was suffering from a gunshot wound and deputies provided medical aid until emergency medical aid arrived and pronounced her deceased.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division responded and assumed the investigation. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the manner and cause of death.
