NARRATIVE:
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at approximately 4:47 a.m., personnel from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station responded to a motor vehicle collision on Avenue T, near 70th Street East, in an incorporated area of the City of Palmdale.
Preliminary information indicated that at approximately 4:47 a.m., a male Hispanic adult was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor eastbound on Avenue T at an unknown rate of speed. The driver of the Ford F-150 Raptor veered into the westbound lanes of travel, colliding head-on with a 2008 Honda Civic. Both drivers were extracted from their vehicles and transported to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the Ford F-150 Raptor later succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the Honda Civic remains in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
