- 1900 block of Huntington Drive – On April 3, 2026 at 5 PM, during an argument, the suspect retrieved a rifle and pointed it at the victim. No arrest made. Suspect named. Temple DB to follow-up.

- Grand Theft (Unlocked Vehicle)
- 1900 block of Wardell Avenue – On April 4, 2026 at 1 AM, the suspect(s) entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole miscellaneous personal items. No arrest made. No surveillance video available. Temple DB to follow-up.

There has recently been a small uptick in thefts from unlocked vehicles in the City of Duarte. Thieves often check the doors of vehicles parked on the street, in driveways, or in open garages. Deputies regularly receive reports of thefts that range from small items like pocket change to larger valuables such as golf clubs and high-end electronics. If you value it, make sure to lock it up! Even better, hide your valuables in your car or move them inside your home.
