Wilmington Police have arrested a man on drug charges following an investigation.
Members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division along with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force have been conducting an investigation into 35-year-old Hamiorr Turner in reference to illegal drug sales in the area of Vandever Avenue and Locust Street.
On April 9th at approximately 6:00 a.m., officers executed a search warrant in the 2600 block of Philadelphia Pike. Turner was located and taken into custody without incident. Officers recovered approximately 125 grams of cocaine, approximately 3 grams of crack cocaine, and $32,975.00 in U.S. currency.
Turner has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver (Tier 3)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (Tier 3)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 20 and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution on $125,200 cash-only bail.
