A bear has been spotted on the west hill, specifically in the area of Cider Mill Road, Clara Avenue, Gibraltar Terrace, and Ridgewood Avenue. Please do not leave any pets unattended outside and take efforts to secure any food items and/or garbage you may have on your property. The Hawthorne Police Department is monitoring the situation.
