Activity for April 10-12, 2026: Officers responded to 184 calls for service, made 15 arrests, and 75 traffic stops.
April 10, 2026:
- Officer Bean was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 900 block of First Street. A 20-year-old male was arrested for home invasion; assault and battery; and domestic assault.
- Officer Bean responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 28-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Bean visited with students at Queen’s Elementary.
- Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of West Wesley Street for disorderly juveniles.
- Officers responded to the 1400 block of Cherry Street for a disorderly subject. The 52-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival. Charges will be sought on the male for violating his conditional bond terms.
- Sergeant Thoresen conducted a traffic stop at East Michigan Avenue and South Cooper Street. The 39-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of South Blackstone Street for a personal welfare check. A 52-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 600 block of Griswold Street. A 35-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Castro and Officer Jones were dispatched to the 500 block of Griswold Street for a domestic dispute. A 36-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officer Castro and Officer Jones responded to the Grand River near East High Street for a found firearm. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Brooker located the disorderly subject from April 10th in the 1400 block of Cherry Street. The 52-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officer Bean observed a vehicle run a red light at East High Street and Carl Breeding Way. The 39-year-old male driver was arrested for driving with a suspended license, and multiple conditional bond violations.
- Officer Delgado and Officer Panther located a wanted juvenile near Greenwood Avenue and West Morrell Street. A 15-year-old male was lodged at JCYC on an outstanding juvenile warrant. Additional charges will be sought on the juvenile for being a minor in possession of tobacco, and furnishing false information to police.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 500 block of South Cooper Street. A 34-year-old female was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Sergeant Thoresen conducted a traffic stop at South Horton Street and Tyson Street. A 34-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. Charges will be sought on the 34-year-old female and a 54-year-old female for possessing narcotics.
- Officers responded to the 300 block of Moorman Drive for an assault report.
- While investigating the assault incident listed above, officers observed a domestic assault. A 50-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of North West Avenue for a disorderly subject in a vehicle. A 29-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officers responded to several calls for disorderly subjects in the Central Business District. Multiple bars decided to close early due to the crowds.
- Officer Fitzpatrick was dispatched to the 600 block of Webb Street for a found handgun magazine.
- Officer Bean responded to the 100 block of South Bowen Street for a domestic assault report. The 31-year-old male suspect fled the area, and has not been located. Charges will be sought on the male for domestic assault; tampering with 911 communications; and malicious destruction of property.
- Officer Delgado and Officer Panther made contact with a wanted subject in the 600 block of Chester Street. A 38-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop at Steward Avenue and West Trail Street. The 36-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Sergeant Mosier conducted a property security check in the 2200 block of Tyson Street.
