Newark Firefighters, in partnership with the American Red Cross, will install free smoke alarms in Newark’s East Ward, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Firefighters and volunteers will go door-to-door offering the free smoke alarms to residents. All volunteers will be wearing identification tags. Please feel free to request to see ID. #newarknj #smokealarms #free #giveaway
