Wilmington Police have arrested a man in connection to a burglary incident.
On April 11 at approximately 6:09 a.m., a member of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 1800 block of Lancaster Avenue in reference to a burglary that occurred. Officers conducted an area canvass and located a subject matching the description of the suspect in the 1500 block of West 3rd Street. Officers made contact with 49-year-old Darnell Miller and took him into custody without incident, also recovering a portion of the stolen proceeds.
Miller has been charged with the following offenses:
- Burglary (Third Degree)
- Theft $1,500 or Greater
- Criminal Mischief Over $1,000
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and committed to the Howard R. Young Correctional Institution pending further proceedings.
