The City of Unalaska advises that the Solid Waste Facility will be closed on Saturday, April 18, 2026, due to mechanical repairs.
This closure does not affect Scrap Metal Disposal operations, and the scale will remain operational.
The Solid Waste Facility is expected to return to normal operations on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.
