TRAFFIC ADVISORY: GOFFLE HILL ROAD PAVING
FROM THE HAWTHORNE POLICE TRAFFIC BUREAU
The Hawthorne Police Traffic Bureau advises residents and motorists of scheduled roadway paving operations on Goffle Hill Road as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements.
PAVING SCHEDULE:
• Friday, April 17, 2026
Goffle Hill Road from Grandview Avenue to the Wyckoff Border
• Monday, April 20, 2026
Goffle Hill Road from Lafayette Avenue to 94 Goffle Hill Road
Work Hours: 7:00 AM-5:00 PM (weather permitting)
TRAFFIC IMPACT:
• Full roadway closures will be in effect during paving operations
• No through traffic will be permitted
• Police officers and traffic control personnel will be on site
• Motorists should expect delays and are strongly encouraged to use alternate routes
ACCESS:
Due to the nature of the paving work, access will be restricted.
• Residents, emergency vehicles, and school transportation will NOT be able to pass through the work zone during active paving operations
Residents are advised to plan accordingly and move vehicles out of the work area in advance if necessary.
The Borough appreciates your patience and cooperation as these critical improvements are completed to enhance the safety and roadway conditions along Goffle Hill Road.
