The Township of Washington has contracted with Frank Macchione Inc. to perform paving improvements on the following roadways:
Bergen Avenue (Entire Length)
Fern Street (Cypress Street to Bergen Avenue)
Salem Road (Entire Length)
Carriage Court (Entire Length)
Monday 04/20 Milling and paving operations on Bergen Avenue, milling operations to begin on Fern Street
Tuesday 04/21 Continue milling operations on Fern Street, paving operations to begin on Fern Street
Wednesday 04/22 Milling operations conducted on Salem Road and Carriage Court. Paving operations to be completed on Fern Street
Thursday 04/23 Paving operations conducted on Salem Road and Carriage Court.
The above schedule is weather permitting and may be subject to minor change. All work is set to be completed within 5 days. Hours of work will be between 7:00am and 5:00pm
PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT SECTIONS OF THE STREETS WILL BE CLOSED DURING HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION BUT OPENED AT THE END OF THE DAY. RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO HAVE THEIR CARS OUT OF THEIR DRIVEWAYS PRIOR TO THE START OF MILLING AND PAVING
On Paving days, residents are asked to plan accordingly and limit their trips on the roadway when necessary. We also request residents observe the "NO PARKING" signs when posted.
