Police Seek Help Locating Newark Man Wanted for Questioning in Shooting Investigation
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr., requests the public’s help in locating Kisaan Clinton, 24, of Newark, who is wanted for questioning about a shooting that occurred on Friday, March 5, 2026.
Police Officers responded to a report of a shooting at approximately 8:35 p.m. in the 200 block of South Orange Avenue. When they arrived, officers located one shell casing and secured the scene.
Detectives investigating this incident are seeking Clinton, described as a Black Male, is 5’8” to 5’9” and weighs 140 pounds.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on Clinton’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
