Wilmington Police are investigating a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian that occurred in the area of 23rd and North Market Streets this afternoon.
Market Street is currently closed from 22nd to 24th Streets and 23rd Street is currently closed from North Tatnall to Lamotte Streets. Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and expect delays.
This incident remains under investigation by the WPD Special Operations Division Traffic Unit, and further details will be released as soon as possible.
