This is a message from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate escaped inmate Thomas Daniel Ware, 49 years old, approximately 5' 8" in height, brown hair, 135 pounds. The inmate was last seen wearing an orange shirt that says work crew and red stripe pants. The subject was seen near Majestic Drive on Hwy 64 East leaving a work crew on foot. The suspect is not considered to be armed at this time. If you located the suspect, do not approach and call 911 immediately. More information will be sent out as it becomes available.
