Beginning Monday, April 20th at approximately 7:30 am there will be lane closure at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Church Street to allow NYSEG work crews to replace a utility pole. Work is anticipated to be completed by 3:30 pm on Monday. The sidewalk on the west side of Chestnut Street will also be closed. An aerial photograph of this area with the work zone outlined in red is attached.
It is recommended to avoid this area if all possible and use alternate side streets for passage.
Flaggers and temporary signs will be in place to direct traffic safely around the work zone. Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and flaggers.
The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
