Green Bay Police Investigate Motorcycle/SUV Crash with Critical Injuries; S. Huron Road and Sitka Street
The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a crash involving a motorcycle and SUV on S. Huron Road near Sitka Street, which has resulted in critical injuries to both drivers, and any additional witnesses are asked to come forward.
Officers were dispatched to the crash on Thursday, April 16, 2025, at approximately 6:40 p.m., which temporarily closed the roadway for reconstruction until about 2:00 a.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026.
At this time, the initial investigation indicates that the motorcycle, which was being driven by a 20-year-old Green Bay woman, was traveling with a group of motorcyclists at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control of the motorcycle, striking the SUV. Both the driver of the motorcycle and the driver of the SUV, a 49-year-old Green Bay man, were transported and hospitalized for injuries.
