*UPD* Assault with a Deadly Weapon- Gun Shot Victim
On April 9, 2026, at approximately 8:45 p.m., an Assault with a Deadly Weapon incident occurred at the 1000 block of Vista Street. The preliminary investigation indicated several rounds were fired at the victim who was on a balcony, and the victim was struck by gunfire. No additional victims were located. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and was reported to be in stable condition. Detectives are actively investigating a vehicle of interest.
On April 14, 2026, at approximately 12:07 p.m., an Assault with a Deadly Weapon incident occurred at the 7900 block of Norton Avenue. The preliminary investigation indicated the victim was struck once by gunfire. No additional victims were located. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and was reported to be in stable condition. Detectives are currently investigating a person of interest.
Based on information currently available, there is no evidence to suggest these two shooting incidents are connected. West Hollywood Station Detectives believe each case to be an isolated and targeted act.
We understand that these incidents can cause concern within our community; however public safety remains our highest priority. We have increased patrols in the area to further support the safety of our residents. Detectives are working diligently to identify those responsible and continuing to follow up on all leads.

The preliminary investigation indicates that an unknown number of rounds were fired at the location. No additional gunshot victims were located.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries and is reported to be in stable condition.
