Residents are reminded that tomorrow, Sunday, April 19, the Jersey City Marathon and Half Marathon will require the closure of several roads near Hoboken’s southern border, between 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
While Jersey Avenue will remain open to vehicular traffic, the existing NJ DEP closure of Marin Boulevard, combined with marathon-related road closures, is expected to significantly impact traffic in and out of southwest Hoboken.
Drivers are strongly advised to use northern routes to enter and exit Hoboken on Sunday, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Light Rail service and NY Waterway ferry service will be operating on modified schedules.
