1. Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest (1225) 3400 Block of Tupelo Drive, Bear Creek District
The female victim, 16, was in the listed area when the known suspect tried to get her to come with him. When the victim refused, the suspect took property from her and fled. The victim followed and at an area residence, the suspect vandalized the victim’s property, pushed her, held a knife to her, and threatened her. A witness intervened and the victim fled on foot. The victim was uninjured. The suspect was located and arrested without incident. ARRESTED: 17-year-old male for assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and vandalism.
2. Resisting Arrest (1544) 9200 Block of Eaglepoint Lane, Valley Oak District
Stockton Fire responded to the listed area for a brush fire. They contacted the suspect who was conducting an illegal burn. The suspect pushed a firefighter, causing him a non-life-threatening injury. Officers responded and the suspect resisted attempts to arrest him. Force was used to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Steven Nguyen, 69, for battery on a firefighter and resisting arrest.
