* At 1226 AM EDT/1126 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 13 miles northwest of New Buffalo to
Winamac, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

South Bend, Mishawaka, Michigan City, La Porte, Niles, Benton
Harbor, Plymouth, St. Joseph, Dowagiac, Bremen, Buchanan, Knox,
Winamac, Trail Creek, Granger, Gulivoire Park, Benton Heights, Fair
Plain, Osceola, and Bridgman.

Interstate 80 in Indiana between mile markers 42 and 86.
Interstate 94 in Indiana between mile markers 36 and 45.
Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 0 and 42.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

building.
