Northville Township sincerely apologizes for waking residents with an overnight alert at approximately 1:30 a.m.
We understand how disruptive and frustrating it is to be awakened for a non-urgent message. This alert was sent due to a system configuration error that allowed a non-critical National Weather Service notification to go out overnight.
We take responsibility for this mistake and are correcting our settings to ensure only urgent, safety alerts are sent during overnight hours. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
