April 17, 2026:

• Officer Elston responded to the Courthouse for a warrant arrest. A 40-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Vernier was dispatched to the 1600 block of Lansing Avenue for a parole violation. A 47-year-old male was arrested for a parole violation.
• Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
• Officers responded to South Pleasant Street and Pringle Avenue for an intoxicated driver. A 40-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated; possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle; carrying a concealed weapon; and possessing a firearm while intoxicated.
• Officer Tripp located a wanted subject in the 400 block of West Prospect Street. A 37-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics, and an outstanding felony warrant.
• Sergeant Mosier made contact with a subject near Third Street and West Washington Avenue. A 32-year-old female was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop at South Jackson Street and West Wesley Street. The 32-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

• Officer Soloman was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 700 block of Second Street. A 35-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officers attended the King of the Pit event at the Jackson Speedway.
• Officers responded to the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue for a weapons complaint.
• Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Michigan Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 44-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault (2^nd offense).
• Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Carl Breeding Way. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Soloman responded to the 100 block of West Michigan Avenue for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officer Tripp made contact with a subject in the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue. A 61-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics.
• Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near South Blackstone Street and West Wilkins Street. The 24-year-old female driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and possessing open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
• Officer Frazier located the vehicle reported stolen from West Michigan Avenue traveling near Steward Avenue and Van Buren Street. The driver refused to stop for officers, and officers terminated the pursuit. The vehicle was later located unoccupied at South Wisner Street and West High Street. The 19-year-old male suspect was located and arrested for unlawfully driving away an automobile, and fleeing and eluding.

• Officer Allison and Officer Tierney were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of South Blackstone Street. The 43-year-old male suspect fled prior to officers’ arrival, and has not been located.
• Officer Hogan responded to the Kalamazoo County Jail for a warrant pick-up. A 39-year-old female was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of West Trail Street for a domestic dispute. The suspect fled in a vehicle prior to officers’ arrival. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop. A 36-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated; possession of narcotics; and resisting and obstructing.
• Officer Soloman responded to the 1200 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for a malicious destruction of property report.
