Green Bay Police Investigate Reported Attack with Edged Weapon; Two Victims Injured, Suspect Arrested
The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a reported attack with an edged weapon that has resulted in serious injuries to two people on the city’s east side.
Officers were dispatched on April 20, 2026, around 5:15 a.m. to a residence in the 900 block of Edgewood Drive. Upon arrival, officers rendered first aid to the two victims, a 23-year-old Green Bay man and a 26-year-old Green Bay woman, who each sustained cuts and were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
Police learned at the scene that the suspect, who was known to the victims, had fled. The suspect, a 29-year-old Green Bay–area man, was detained around 8:35 a.m. during a traffic stop. He was brought to the Green Bay Police Department for questioning, then later arrested and transported to the Brown County Jail.
The investigation is ongoing. No additional details are currently planned for release.
