Big River Break-In Leads to Arrest; Suspect Accused of Restraining Victim and Vandalism

LOCATION: 72000 block of Papago Trail, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Tlaloque Reyes, 25-years-old, Resident of Parker, AZ
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Sunday, April 19, 2026, at approximately 12:57 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department responded to the 72000 block of Papago Trail in Big River after receiving a 911 call from the victim who could be heard screaming in the background during the call.
When deputies arrived on scene, they observed the suspect Tlaloque Reyes holding the victim down inside of the residence. Deputies entered the residence through a broken sliding glass door and safely detained the suspect without further incident.
The investigation revealed that the suspect, had forcibly entered the victim's residence by smashing the sliding glass door. Once inside, Reyes allegedly restrained the victim against her will and tried to prevent her from calling emergency services. Further investigation revealed that Reyes had vandalized the victim's outdoor water heater on the property. Reyes was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest for CVC 23152(A)- Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and CVC 23152(B) - DUI with a Blood Alcohol Content over .08%.
Reyes was arrested and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking on the above mentioned-charges. Reyes remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, with a combined bail amount of $105,000.00, awaiting a court hearing. This investigation is ongoing.
