Wilmington Police have arrested a man on gun and drug charges following a trespassing investigation.

On April 16^th at approximately 5:57 a.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 800 block of Maryland Avenue in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival, officers searched the vacant property and located 25-year-old Antoine Davis. Davis was taken into custody, after he resisted arrest. Officers recovered 2 grams of crack cocaine, 0.45 grams of heroin/fentanyl, a loaded .9mm handgun and $313.00 in U.S. currency.

Davis has been charged with the following offenses:

• Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
• Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
• Resisting Arrest
• Possession of a Controlled Substance- Two Counts
• Criminal Trespass (Third Degree)
